The Piper Writers Studio offers classes and workshops for writers of all levels. Each course is led by an experienced writer and teacher. In-person courses take place at the Piper Writers House on the ASU Tempe Campus. Online courses are a convenient way to take advantage of the Piper Writers Studio from anywhere in the world. Participants use Web-based forums to submit their work and interact with the instructor and other class members. Course titles include: "Ekphrasis: Conversation Among Arts," "Eight Weeks, Eight Elements of Story Telling," "Fits and Starts," "Four Poems in Four Weeks," "Writing the Book of Changes" and many more. The cost of 8-week sessions is $400; online courses are $200; and one-day workshops are $100. Piper Friends members receive a 10% tuition discount.
